I've been thinking, Our weather isn't the most predictable weather on the planet and every time it rains we either run in the building or run in the building. I'de like to have a donation box for buying a canopy or tents(kmart had a nice one on sale for 120$ two weeks ago or we can buy em used. Tables would be helpful too. If we donate 5-10$ each for this canopy and get shade for more than a year i'de say that 5 bucks is well worth it. This would also be good for other misc. things we can use for scenarios. Like claymores and other fun stuff we can throw in the game.
Who will hold the tent? a person who has a storage place and a truck that can transport the canopies to the field. Of course everyone would help set up these canopies. But there are alot of tents out there that just pops up and are easy to put together.
What do you guys think?

The canopies would really come in handy when we start rebuilding the Coral pit because there is no building to run into.

Kmart has the 10x10 easy fold up tents for sale for 69.99. If we can get 7 people to donate 20$ we can have two of those tents. tables are on sale for 32.99. But i think the tent would be very useful.

Once again, Kmart has these instant canopies on sale!!
Unfortunately the price has increased to 5$.
it's now $74.99.
This sale will end on Sunday.
The only concern I have is storage and transport.
If they don't sell out on these canopies it might go on sale again in two weeks.
We need at least 2 canopies when we start playing at the pit.
one 12x12 canopy is not going to give shade to 30+ people.

i have an idea. what if we weld together some metal pipes and make it permanent on the ground and we just buy the tarp. we can make it 20x40. and every end of the game we just tke out the tarp. just a thought.

Sounds like a very good idea Rods, But Buddy did say our material has to be bio-degradable.
We will bring it up in the meeting tonight. Who can weld?
But this is a cheaper way of making the tent. plus it'll be bigger.
