We've been having a few issues with our game venues every Sundays. There hasn't been much GAP members going out on the weekends. Some members have requested the guys that if you are not able to play PLEASE don't post a venue on Facebook. Due to these posts, members that ACTUALLY committed to playing considered/counted the members that posted. Which is confusing the guys that are waiting at our bigger site. I believe last week, there were only less than 10 that showed up but people were posting. The members that waited ended up playing at the "old harmon flea market". Since the weather has been against us playing at the PIT. The Venue/site will be Sanctuary from today, every Sunday until the weather promises us a good sunshine throughout the day. The venue will not change until further notice to minimize confusion and mis-postings from members.. SO GAP.. OUR GAME WILL BE SANCTUARY EVERY SUNDAY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WE HAVE NIGHT GAMES THERE AS WELL EVERY THURSDAY WHICH HAS A GOOD NUMBER OF PLAYERS FROM GAP AND FROM OHFM PLAYERS. GAME ON THURSDAYS IS FROM 6PM-  OUR SUNDAY GAMES WILL START AT 12:00PM. There have been posts of a new day that we are starting to schedule again which is going to be Tuesday afternoon until early evening. This has not been finalize or decided.. We are still waiting for members that will be able to play on this day regularly. Thank you all for understanding this matter.. See you on the field!! GUAM AIRSOFT PLAYERS! |

you are telling me that you guys are planning games on sundays when there is already a sure game day at the OHFM? Really you guys are just dividing up the small amount of players we have on this Island.

Actually... there are some of us that like variety. I wouldn't want to keep playing OHFM all the time knowing that there are other fields to play.
Our low counts are just due to sickness, weather, etc... the last game has been growing in numbers again.
OHFM already has a big crowd so I don't understand where the problem of having other people play different fields is coming from.
Also, I'm not sure if you're really hating or just trolling... I seriously don't see a problem in planning games aside OHFM.
If you're trolling... get off the computer.
If you're hating... you must not be enjoying the crowd in OHFM enough.

Second off: To my hater. i might not be smart but you just showed me someone is dumber than me. i really like how you said you are dumb in 3 different sentences and basically copying what Jirvs just said.

Why don't you guys plan shit out with people at OFM too so you don't have players bailing on you! First off: We actually have lives and are quite busy. Which may also ADD to the part where we had low counts last few Sundays. This may also result in your message to be replied late. We utilize our group page more than our forum as it is of most convenience to us.
Second: I'm trying to maintain a level of professionalism as to which I'm merely trying to clear things up here. You come to our forum and tell us this is dumb? I mean really, have you played with us before? Do we know you? Do you know us?
I will apologize for that some of the people who replied to you did not maintain themselves as professional but I also cannot blame them as your approach was not respectful.
I do not play OHFM all the time but I do play there once in a while. A couple of us attended 2 straight Sundays a couple weeks ago and we had fun. We didn't complain. We respected their rules. We thank Jack and his crew for letting us play at their field and as we do the same by inviting them to our Thursday Night games at the Sanctuary.
So, you see, we actually do invite and coordinate with the OHFM players to our game days, not specifically Sundays but we do invite them when we can. In disbelief? You can see one of our members inviting them on the GuamAirsoft Harmon facebook page. In fact, you will see a number of posts in regards to invites.
What puzzles me is why you bring such hostility towards our own issues? Assuming you are not part of our group... I don't understand why our planned events, gamedays, etc. would concern you if you didn't like it. Simple as that. Don't like it? Leave it alone. You don't come into someone's house and tell them that they're silly just because you don't like the way they run things... you just don't come in.
Group? Yes we are... but you are not obligated to become a part of it and neither do we have the obligation to rally every airsoft player on island. Although it would be nice but such a thing would be quite a challenge because not everyone agrees on the same thing or have the same views.
I do hope you can see us in a brighter light. We are a group because we do enjoy playing airsoft as a group. Im not saying we don't enjoy playing with the OHFM people, heck, there are are some pretty good airsoft players there, too. You can find the similarities as if you would view car groups, there are many but they all share the same passion.
I will however entertain your suggestion of a collaboration with OHFM and bring it up with our members. I just hope that you approach us or any other group in a more professional and respectful manner rather than coming over and trying to belittle them.

Do you spare spray paint or nails for decor and securing the cover we use? Have you gone to the mayor's on this island and actually asked to use land that is not yours? I mean we have the choice to choose whatever field we want to play on...and when we want to play too...I'm pretty sure there's a reason we play Sundays because that's when most people are free or designated to play... I mean for me...I honestly don't like playing at OHFM too often...I like having different places to play...and with the advent of the military buildup...places to play have been hard to find... Oh and speaking of which correct me if I'm wrong but Jack doesn't own OHFM, he's a tenant to watch over it...in which at any time...the actual owners can just take it away...if I'm wrong I stand corrected. Just one more day for... SUNDAY!! Everyone pray for no rain... Navy pub, pit or Sanctuary? I think since we use Sanctuary for our night games, no one wants to play there Sundays.
