I got introduced to airsoft by Sam, at first I wasn't really that interested for the reason that I thought it was kind of childish, but it left a certain curiousity in me. Many days past I totally forgot about it until one time I was looking for my hoops gear from a sporting store and saw this nicely looking almost real gun displayed on the wall, So I inquired about it, ...took it home. after reading the instructions, I did my first test shots... Wow! this is nice, especially on the full-auto mode, and it's accurate too. And that was the "first taste, and the addiction took over..." hahaha! My very first airsoft games, I AM ALWAYS "DEAD"+++, which is not bad at all for me, in my mind, eventually I will get better just like in any sport... And it's true after a while, I am getting some kills too. Those days the airsoft was just beginning it's popularity and getting big too. After a while my "starter gun" started wearing out, but it still performs, I seeked the internet for my next gun and found one to my budget and liking in less than a month I was holding my new baby ( a desert M4, S-System, shooting at 420 fps, which at that time considered a hot-gun already), the new gun gave me boost feeling and sort of a confidence knowing in my hand I have a better toy with bit of power and range from my previous one and at this time also I have played for months and have familiarized myself with the ins-and outs of the buildings and field terrains that we play... in my mind, I am getting better (but, I am still getting killed at lot of times...haha). The more you know of the configuration of the gamesite, the better is your advantage. I met a lot of people too, which most became real close friends, My addiction have taught me to: 1) only buy the gun you really like, do not be a compulsive buyer...,2) limit your gun arsenal...(to avoid costly maintenance), 3) buy gun that share the same parts as much as possible... ( for parts compatibility), 4) upgrade your protective gear, before you upgrade your guns, 5) know your budget always... to be continued...

well as for me i got introduced to air soft 4 yrs ago. my son Brian wanted to play paint ball, and i said son paint ball is expensive , I heard there is airsoft in the island we went Toys n Joys to check out guns and there Ben told me that team OJ plays every Saturday at the old GMH starts at 6 am and i was just watching him play and I said this is fun, so I went back to toys n joy to get me a gun but unfortunately they ran out so they directed me to game n play at GPO , I got me a $40 MP5 270 fps but boy its so light that every game I was able to outflanked my opposing team and nailed them all . that is the story of me getting hooked up and getting my reputation as sneaky Sam/the teleporter/ up to this day i have not upgraded any guns that i bought . 2008 was my first island tournament with my A team that we got the championship at FAA game site /then second was last year with my team Gully at Harmon flea market.I admit my addiction coz this the only exercise I get at my age of 45 , and its fun you get to meet new friends .that is all folks see you all and have fun playing airsoft...............my loyalty is to my gun and to highest bidder that is why i am a mercenary.......to be continued..........

As for me now, well, about 3 years ago Killerk (Ninong Kerwin) invited me to play airsoft, he showed me his gun while in a get together at my house. I remember it well, he broke out this M4 with a laser attached, I held it and saw a cat near the gate, pointed the laser, and blasted the cat. after that I was interested to play but never took the initiative to go to the site due to a busy schedule with work (just an excuse ). Anyways, September of that year, I went to the philippines for 2 months for training. one of my classmates was holding this mask that looked like Jobowokees, so I asked him what it was for. He replied "for airsoft". My eyes grew big, I siad " hey, I always been wanting to try that when I was in Guam" . He then invited me that sunday to play. I was soooo excited, I think I was the first one at the site that day. He let me borrow his JG S-system, after that game I was hooked. the following week, bought me an S-system as well, then a couple days later bought an AK74U.........Thats how I started......to be continued...........

I used to work with Mr. Joseph(AKA Loloy). We started about the same time at work so we would always take our lunch break together. He would always ask me, What I did for my hobby. At that time, I had Jude who was 2 and Zion was just a few months old. I was a dedicated father. I just went to work at 6am go home at 2 and take care of my kids til' they sleep. That was my life. I gave up smoking and drinking as well(started smoking again, trying to stop again).I bodyboarded but surf is very unpredictable here on Guam and it would only swell up during the "winter swell". Plus i'de get in trouble numerous times because the time would pass and my wife would be late for work. LOL. Anyways, Joseph kept talking about "airsoft" which I find to be another expense out of my pocket(i'm very kuripot lol). I knew about airsoft from my friends that used to play(team Gear). But i always found a reason not to go(sometimes i wish i started earlier). Finally I agreed with Joseph that I would play for the sake of my stepson's activities. School was ending and he didn't have anything to do. And Jindai(stepson)was very intrested in Handguns so it would be a good activity for him. Joseph then took all his gears at my house and was showing me all these m4's and hand guns and was teaching me about all these 6mm and 8mm gearbox that I had no idea what he was talking about. I then took my Stepson to the OHFM and i remember i was wearing a winter jacket thinking that bb was as strong as my 1700fps pellet gun!! I learned that the hard way when I started to get dizzy in the middle of the game! The next sunday I wore something lighter guns and lighter gear. This is when adrenaline kicked in and the addiction went straight to my brain! I was running towards the guys shooting at me and dodging all the bbs i can!! lol. After a couple of months passed I was brought to the Navy Pub. This place was a different ball game, Unlike the flea market where everyone is like a gung ho soldier that didn't care.. PUB was more subtle, quiet, sneaky and more nerve racking once you are in the building and all you hear are the water drops dripping from the ceiling. This was my kind of game.. My kind of players!! I kept playing at the Navy pub every Sunday(part was also there were alot of people not calling out at the flea market(zombies)and i noticed that people were always mad there, Who wants to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars if your just going to be frustrated?). It was more of a family oriented at the Navy pub and we all sat in ONE circle in the end of the game(i got to count my kills too!!). Before the summer ended, I had 2 MP5Ks, 2 GBB pistols, 1 ics concept, 3 M4 and a p90. Like what "the specialist" says, Don't be a compulsive buyer!!! This was me.. Hahaha. I sold ended up selling one of my MP5k, my p90 and my 2 m4s to another person that was just starting airsoft.. hoping i can give them the addiction for this adrenaline driven sport!!! to be continued......

I was born around guns. I had my own gun at 6 years old. I have been in four actual gun skirmishes in the philippines. I almost shot my bestfriend and really accidentally shot my self. That thaught me to respect the gun.. Now i got my first airsoft mc51 by tokyo marui in 1997. I still have it now... From tiyan to sanctuary ive played and guess what i can shoot friends now and not worry about killing them ... Hahaha

I started playing airsoft a few years back (maybe 2007-2008), but only casually. I started off with paintball, but when my school club died out, I had to find a new sport. That's when a friend of mine showed me some videos of them playing at the Old GMH. I literally spent the whole night watching all the videos. I knew I was hooked. So, when a few guys from another forum (GuamServer) asked me if I wanted to tag along to try it out... I IMMEDIATELY said "YES!" The first time I actually played I used a Tokyo Marui FAMAS at the NAVY Pub. I played maybe 3 or 4 times that year then I stopped playing for a while. I started playing regularly about a year and a half ago when some guys from my current team (Samurai) asked me if I was down to play. First gun I bought was an Echo 1 AK47CPW. I used this gun exclusive since then. I recently just bought a Cybergun Thompson M1928. I keep spending money and time looking for new gear and new stuff to do with my loadouts, but hey.... it's an addiction!

Starting Apirl of Last year, Went through 3 guns and now Im on my 4th gun. Played every Friday and Sunday, sometimes occasionalyy thurdays and saturdays. spent most of my money on BB's and Propane. repairs and friends. I wake up every morning and I clean my house with my Zombat (my current gun) till I reach to the restroom and there I put my gun in a near by closet on for me to pick it up and restart the sweep again the next morning. Yup an addiction alright.
