As Sam mentioned yesterday during break time, since the group is growing very large, we should have groups of 5-7 in one team.
We'll then face them off with each other and go through a tournament style bracket. We've started discussing briefly about this on Facebook and the brainstorm is limitless. Everyone has ideas on how to make a great game/scenarios. There are a few questions up in the air. The other groups that are waiting will be waiting a while. If everyone works together and is well organized the games will be quick. When we played 5 on 5 the games DOES NOT last more than 10 minutes. Sometimes we won't even get to fire a single shot and we're out or we safety calls all players.
FOR EXAMPLE:If our games were timed at 7 minutes per round and had boundaries where the players would go when they get hit. We would know who's out or not. Most of the time we don't know whos in or out because they are going to their cars. We'de have another set of waiting place for the next team that's going to play so right after the 7 mins is up, the second runs in to play.
This way the game can keep going. This is ideal for when we have over 30 players like yesterday.
I've heard people saying the wait was too long yesterday because when we play the whole field, someone would be in the jungle while the other team is searching in and out of the building.
FPS limitations and round limitations were also mentioned and a few of the players has already invested on GBB rifles and standard mags.
Once we get these types of games locked and well organized, we can then modify them to any type of war games/scenarios we can come up with. But with a 7 man team, it's more tactical and everyone strengths and weaknesses will be put to the test.
Another topic that was brought up was refs and supplies.
We cannot do this without proper gear and supplies needed for the game to run smooth and efficient.
Please see "contributions" for this topic.
Again, this is only an idea, nothing is finalized.
We'll just have more stories to talk about and more moments to laugh about.
See you all in the killing fields!
