Just came from the pit just now with Buddy to check the place out, and all I can say is " I can't wait for this site to open for games". Yes, there is so much potential from towers to tunnels etc.....there's so much we can do and so much space, but at the same time so much work to do as well. but once we've all put in the hard work it'll all be worth it and as long as we all follow the rules and keep the place clean it's ours to keep to hold tournaments or even parties.
Saturday will be sort of a ground breaking, we've got measurements for the gate and have plans to have it up this saturday. those of you that have time to spare to help in starting to clean the place up, please do come by. looking at starting around 12 or 1. will confirm later.

Our games are getting better and better for GAP. We have Honest players, and we have players that support the community 110%. Some of us have family, school and work yet we still find time to build and support our ever growing fields, members and the sport.
This past Sunday we played 3 different types of Death match. Half field, whole field and speed ball at the end.
It was nice to see that no one is being called Zombies and our Refs were very proactive. They kept reminding the players the rules and informing us during the game if someone is hit/walking out. (thank you REFS!!! Jason, Jordan(the singer), Chester and Kerwin, If didn't mention your name, you know who you are)
There was an issue that was brought up that members were flushing out opponents from the pallets. This is AGAINST the rules and mostly common sense and respect. So if that's you in the field, PLEASE STOP. Its not fun getting lit up from all directions when you know you are behind a supposedly solid object. We will try to resolve this problem as soon as we can get the materials and tools ready. I believe we will covering the pallets with bed sheets that our fellow member donated(thank you Halverpogi) As soon as we get these items. We can set up a date for clean up and at the same time brining more pallets for speedball type of game. We can also cover up the pallets at the same time. If you find any materials that we can cover the pallets that will not get ruined from the heat, rain and weather conditions on Guam, please bring em'!
I'm also seeing a good numbers of new members starting to play!! This is very good news and it only means we are getting known. Let's keep up the good work and let's all be examples of good sportsmanship.
TO THE NEW MEMBERS: There is a $10.00 initial fee to be a GAP(Guam Airsoft Players)this will give you access to our two sites(The Sanctuary and The Coral pit Advance field). We will also issue you a decal for your vehicles. Later on down the line.. Shirts will be made as well. There will be a deadline of the fees for all members. First time is always free to play.. but if you decide that you want to play with the group on a regular weekly basis a fee is required.
WE WILL be taking down names and role calls for those that did and did not pay. Please don't get offended if we speak to you about the fee.. we will speak to everyone about it.
There are a lot of things going on and a lot of projects/game scenarios are being planned for the future. Over night games, Bbqing, karaoke nights, "meetings", and not to mention we have very good mechanics that are always willing to lend a hand and give advice from well rounded experience. The more we play and work together as a team, will only bring us closer together as friends.
Come out and enjoy the fun! We only have room for improvements!! Don't forget our Facebook group. Guam Airsoft community. If you are not a member of it, please post us your user name in Facebook so we can have admin add you to the site.
To all the members that donated items such as mega phones, sheets, cooking wear, first aid kit, trash bags, tags, and most importantly time and support for our clean up days. Thank you all so much!!! This couldn't have happened without any of your help and our fields will only get better as we move onward to bigger and better ideas.
Guam Airsoft Players,
Respect, Honest and UNITY!!!
FYI: A night game will be help on Thursday(5/26). Location The Sanctuary. Time: 18:00(6:00pm). There is butane cooker at the site already so if you want to bring something to cook. You are welcome to do so. Please remember that the Sanctuary has an FPS limit. Thank you for your cooperation!
